The Davie County Chamber of Commerce is a membership association comprised of hundreds of companies and professionals who seek to grow their business opportunities and improve the economic well-being and quality of life in Davie County.

The Chamber provides networking opportunities, civic/community involvement, and educational programs for businesses. We are an advocate locally, regionally, and in Raleigh on important issues that impact Davie County. Working together with businesses, individuals, and community organizations, we are the catalyst to improving the community and business growth through promotion and enhanced economic opportunities. Connections

The Davie County Chamber holds regular networking events to provide members multiple opportunities to meet and develop relationship with other business owners in our community.

Monday Motivators
This is a networking group of Chamber members designed to build relationships, support professional development, and develop lead generating affiliations. At these events, you’ll listen to a short presentations, receive Chamber updates on events, and meet like-minded professionals who wish to grow their business and their network. This is a member benefit and has no additional cost to attend.

Monthly Meeting
This is an open networking event held at WinMock specifically for our chamber members to provide them with multiple opportunities to meet and develop relationships with fellow business owners in our community while hearing from guest speakers throughout North Carolina.

HR Managers Luncheon

The Davie County Chamber of Commerce partners with Davie County Economic Development to host HR Manager Luncheons. The Luncheons foster connections and talk about issues that are important to our employees.

Business After Hours

Business After Hours events are designed for members to meet and create relationships with other business professionals and organizations representing a variety of industries. After Hours typically take place between 4:00 and 6:00 pm at the hosting business or organization location and are free for members to attend! Please join us for great food, drinks, and networking!

Ribbon Cuttings

A ribbon cutting is the ceremonial opening of a brand -new or newly- renovated/relocated business that has opened within the last year. It can inaugurate an organization’s first day of business or it can take place weeks after the business’ soft opening.

Because the ribbon cutting marks a very significant moment in the business’ history, this is also a great photo opportunity. The ceremony gives the business owner or manager a chance to say a few words to those gathered. Business owners have used this time to publicly thank their financial backers, their employees, their friends and family, and/or their business partners. They also take the opportunity to talk about what their business does.

You must be a new or current Chamber member to participate in a ribbon cutting.

We will create a Facebook event for your ribbon cutting to be easily shareable.

Every week, we send an email newsletter that informs community members and business leaders of upcoming events.

Sponsorship Opportunities

PLANT MANAGERS & HR DIRECTORS LUNCHEON

- Two sponsors per meeting. Each will have the opportunity to present a 5-minute PowerPoint in front of 30+ Countywide Plant Managers & HR Directors (February, May, August & November)

MONTHLY MEETING

- Get in front of a group of 30-50 people every month for a full quarter. You will have five minutes to speak about your business and be able to bring any marketing materials to promote.

ANNUAL EVENTS

- Annual Awards Breakfast, Women’s Luncheon, Davie Chamber Pro-Scramble Golf Tournament, and Hands-On Workers Appreciation

A Certificate of Origin (COO) is an important international trade document attesting that goods in a particular export shipment have been wholly obtained, produced, manufactured or processed in a particular country. It is also a declaration by the exporter. Virtually every country in the world considers the origin of imported goods when determining what duty will be assessed on the goods or, in some cases, whether the goods may be legally imported at all. The 1923 Geneva Convention named Chambers of Commerce the official body to issue, sign and stamp Certificates of Origin worldwide and the Davie County Chamber of Commerce is proud to provide this service to our business community.
